This weekend Seattle OPSB return to the Sweet 16's after nearly 10 years since their last trip.

Seattle looks to erase the bitter taste of being knocked out of the Elite Cup last weekend and will get their first opportunity on Saturday against the Austin Blacks.

As we gather more information about potential streaming of the games we will let you know.

Good luck to the Men of Seattle OPSB.

Golden Gate holds no punches..... or bites

It was a west coast show down last weekend as the Seattle OPSB Beach Dogs rolled into San Francisco for the Elite Cup Semi Finals against Golden Gate.

Gate had previously taken 2 of the last games from Seattle's hands, looking for a clean sweep of their rivals from the Pacific North West.

With a quick start, it appeared as those it would be business as usual for the home team, taking a 5-0 lead to start the game. However, the Seattle defense and and scrum quickly snapped into form, helping propel the Beach Dogs to a lead at half.

West Coast show down this weekend; Seattle OPSB Vs. San Francisco Golden Gate - Elite Cup Semi Finals

Seattle OPSB Beach Dogs head to San Francisco for the 3rd time this half to play Golden Gate in the Inaugural Elite Cup Semi Finals.

Seattle looks to have repeat success after last weekends 86-7 victory over the Aztecs of San Diego. However, Golden Gate has had Seattle's number this year; holding a 2-0 record versus the boys from the Pacific Northwest.

2012-2013 BCRU Season Comes to an End with a Win in Kamloops

Last weekend marked the end of a disappointing BCRU Campaign for the Seattle OPSB Orca and Steelhead.

As many know, the BCRU took an action to mandate that no team would be required to travel over the US border for fixtures, putting the Seattle men on the road for all but 1 fixture vs. The Vancouver Rowing Club.

To cap off the season, Seattle traveled to Kamloops and played out their remaining two fixtures in what may be their last game ever in the BCRU. The Orca's came out on top with a commanding 52-31 win while the Steelhead came up short 27-19.

Mixed results for Seattle OPSB over the weekend.

What marked a critical point in their respective seasons, Seattle OPSB Orca's, Beach Dogs & Steelhead churned out some interesting results.

The Beach Dogs, facing a 2 game skid and a must with fixture versus the Denver Barbarians in order to advance to the Elite Cup Playoffs resulted in a commanding win for the Beach Dogs. Was a perfect way to cap the day at Magnuson Park.

Seattle OPSB Annual Golf Tournament - Recap

Despite a drizzly day, Seattle-OPSB's Golf Tournament was a rousing success. A great turnout and enthusiastic players made the event fun for all. Around the course, there was some chatter of having more golf tournaments in the future. With the results from this event, Seattle-OPSB certainly wants to plan another tournament.

This event couldn't have been made possible without the generous donations from our sponsors and the participation of the players. A special thanks to Billy Whelan for all his work helping organize the tournament.
