The Seattle Breakers welcome players of all skill levels. We currently have an array of both veteran and new players. To be eligible to play for the team players must be under 19 at the beginning of the school year and enrolled in an accredited high school. If you are interested please contact Coach Hopper at jana.hopper@seattle.gov. We look forward to hearing from you!
Coach Bess recently contacted some of our players that graduated last year…this is what they’re up to!
Lisa McDonald
Hey Bess its Lisa. Thanks for e-mailing me. I'm just in El Salvador right now living at an orphanage called SHalom Children's Home. I am here helping out at the orphanage and teaching English at a school up the street to pre-k, kindergarten, prepratario, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. It's a big job especially when its time for second grade cause they have 42 students in one very very tiny classroom. It's a challenge, but very good practice for me cause this fall I'm going into the education program at western. I'd love to come see a one of the games when I get back in April. Good luck to you guys and I hope everything is going well for you. see you later, lisa

Joanna Kimes:
Hi Bess! It was good to hear from you. I'm excited for you guys to start up the season again. Lisa McDonald left for El Slavador the beginning of January and she will be gone for 3 months. She went to volunteer at an orphanage there. I'm finishing my AA in business this quarter. I was wondering if you know of any teams that I could play for. Like for my age group and area. I am Transfering to Seattle Pacific University. So if you know of any teams please let me know. Good luck with this new season. I would love to come and watch you guys play a few games. Maybe you can email me your game schedule when you know it. God Bless, Joanna Kimes
