Sponsors Needed for Annual Golf Tournament. LAST CALL!!!

Seattle/OPSB Rugby Football Club is holding our annual Golf Tournament fundraiser on Sunday, April 7th this year at West Seattle Golf Course.

We are looking for sponsors to advertise with us on the day of the tournament. This is a big part of our annual fundraising push and we want to get everyone with an affiliation with the club and a love of the game behind us to promote your business to our players, Old Boys, and to our entire network.

Last Saturday really was a "Rugby Day" for Seattle OPSB RFC. It is rare for the Seattle Orca's to play at home given the No Travel policy institued by the BC Rugby Union this year, it is even rarer for the Orca's to be home at the same time as the Beach Dogs, however on Saturday all the stars aligned and the result was an impressive weekend for the club.

This weekend Seattle OPSB will have 3 home fixtures that features a collegiate curtain raiser between Central Washington University and Western Washington University, all at Magnuson Park (7400 Sandpoint Way).

SEATTLE OPSB RFC APPOINTS FIRST FULL TIME PROFESSIONAL COACH

Seattle Old Puget Sound Beach RFC have appointed former Irish International Justin Fitzpatrick as full time head coach with a twelve month contract effective immediately. This is a significant move by Seattle OPSB RFC as it is in the first time a full time professional has been appointed to coach in American club rugby.

Seattle OPSB victorious in Utah and at home.

This weekend saw Seattle OPSB play two fixtures in two cities. With one side traveling to Utah in a fixture versus BYU and another side staying in the wet (hail was reported) but comfortable settings of their home pitch Magnuson Park versus ORSU.

The BYU game was won with a last second try, capping the game at 34-30. In Seattle, the squad started the game with a 5-0 deficit but regained their composure in a back and forth hard fought fixture. Final score saw the lads come out on top 26-19 against their down south brethren from ORSU.

Seattle OPSB host the Olympic Club next weekend in a 2 fixture event.

The O-Club make their way from San Francisco in a two fixture series against Seattle OPSB at Magnuson Park (7400 Sandpoint Way)

Seattle OPSB hosts ORSU this weekend (Saturday Feb. 16th 3:00pm kick off at Magnuson Park)

ORSU makes the trip from Portland this weekend to play Seattle OPSB for a winter friendly.

The game will kick off at 3:00pm at Magnuson Park (7400 Sand Point Way).

The post game function will be held at Paddy Coynes Irish Pub - Pier 70 (2801 Alaskan Way Seattle, WA 98121) at 5:30pm.

Seattle rolls over East Palo Alto

New head coach Justin Fitzpatrick leads Seattle OPSB to a 38-5 win over the EPA Bulldogs in his debut.

A full game report will follow but congratulations to the team.

Seattle OPSB head to East Palo Alto this Saturday

Game 2 for the USA Division 1 season has Seattle OPSB traveling to East Palo Alto this weekend to take on the EPA Bulldogs.

After a slow start to the season with a loss to San Francisco Golden Gate, Seattle OPSB looks to rebound this weekend.

Seattle OPSB has plenty of talent to choose from this weekend including the return of Kellen Gordon & Jan Linowski return from injury and Stan Moaalii rejoins the team.
